THE INCEPTION OF THE ORPHANAGE

N.H.C.O ORPHANAGE TOUR

New Hope Children's Orphanage is a beacon of light amid darkness. It is a sanctuary for abandoned, orphaned, and vulnerable children in the rural villages just outside Kisumu, nestled in the heart of Ndira village within Bondo Town in Kenya East Africa. These children, who have been left to fend for themselves, find solace and hope within the walls of this orphanage.

But New Hope Children's Orphanage is more than just a place of refuge. It is a lifeline for these children, empowering them to rise above their circumstances and transform their community. In the Nyanza Province of Kenya, where the orphanage is located, the silent epidemic of HIV/AIDS has ravaged countless lives, leaving behind a trail of heartache and devastation. Mothers, fathers, and children have fallen victim to this disease, leaving one out of every three households headed by a child.

But within the walls of New Hope Children's Orphanage, these children are not defined by their tragic circumstances. They are resilient, strong, and determined to create a better future for themselves and their community. Through education, mentorship, and love, they are breaking the cycle of poverty and illness that has plagued their village for far too long.
As you step into the orphanage, you are greeted by the sound of children's laughter and joy. You are surrounded by smiling faces and optimism, each child has a unique story to tell. These children may have faced unimaginable hardships, but they are full of hope and determination.
New Hope Children's Orphanage is more than just a children’s home, it is a lifeline for these children. With each passing day, they are growing, learning, and transforming into strong, capable individuals who will shape the future of their community. And with your support, their journey towards a brighter tomorrow continues.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:5

No orphan is invisible to our God — the “Father to the fatherless” — but it is up to us Christians to see that His compassion and mercy are brought to those who need special care. When we act on behalf of the desperate child, we serve him or her on our Lord’s behalf. This role is expressed in Scripture too, where James 1:27 explains, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
