QUESTIONS BEFORE DELIVERANCE

1. Do you profess faith in Jesus Christ as the divine Son of God, acknowledging your past transgressions and committing your life wholly to Him?  John 1:12 assures us that only those who embrace Him and believe in His name inherit the divine status of God's children.  This isn't a casual affiliation; it demands complete surrender.  Liberation, therefore, is exclusively for those bound to this covenant, a sacred pact offering its blessings only to faithful adherents. Jesus, the ultimate healer and liberator, extends His restorative power only to those who have established this essential familial bond.  Without this filial relationship, attempts at healing or freedom risk exacerbating the existing condition.  The indwelling Holy Spirit is crucial for maintaining this hard-won deliverance; its absence leaves one vulnerable.  Healing and freedom are the divine inheritance of God's children, as illustrated by Matthew 15:the sacred provisions are not to be squandered on the undeserving.

2. Are you prepared to renounce your sinful behaviors and way of life, committing to whatever is necessary to achieve and sustain this spiritual liberation? Any aspect of your existence not fully yielded to the Holy Spirit presents a vulnerable entry point for malevolent forces.  To secure lasting freedom, you must resolutely close these avenues of spiritual compromise; otherwise, malevolent entities will relentlessly reclaim their foothold.  As Jesus compassionately yet firmly conveyed to the adulterous woman in John 8:11, forgiveness offers a new beginning, but continued indulgence in sin nullifies that grace.  Repentance and unwavering commitment to a righteous life are inseparable from true redemption.

3.  Embarking on a deeper relationship with Jesus necessitates a commitment to spiritual practices.  Are you prepared to dedicate yourself to daily prayer, diligent Bible study, and unwavering obedience?  This self-discipline, as 1 Timothy 4:7 advises, cultivates godliness.  Spiritual disciplines are not merely routines; they are habits of devotion, integral actions a follower of Christ undertakes to emulate their Savior. Many seek instant gratification from God, unwilling to fulfill the prerequisites.  There are no shortcuts on the path to divine intimacy.

4. To overcome the persistent onslaught of negative thoughts, daily meditation on Scripture is crucial.  This isn't passive reading; it's a process of absorbing God's word until it saturates your being, becoming a vibrant, life-giving force within you.  This "living word," as Jesus describes in John 6:63 ("For the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life"), possesses transformative power, fostering abundant life.  Engaging with Scripture in this way empowers you to wield the living word as a potent weapon against spiritual adversaries.

5.  Complete candor with your deliverance minister is crucial.  Remember, the adversary seeks vulnerabilities from your past to impede your spiritual liberation.  Unreserved disclosure allows the minister to pinpoint every foothold the enemy has established, paving the way for targeted intercession.  Through fervent prayer, these malevolent influences will be decisively vanquished in Jesus' name, leaving no residue of oppression.

6.  A persistent attachment to sin, a refusal to relinquish harmful habits, renders deliverance futile.  Holding onto such behaviors invites demonic forces to swiftly reclaim their dominion the moment spiritual cleansing occurs.  Genuine repentance and a determined commitment to forsake these things are indispensable prerequisites for lasting freedom.

Prayers

Heavenly Father, in Jesus' sacred name, I humbly proclaim my faith.  Romans 10:9 assures me that confessing Jesus as Lord with my lips and believing in my heart His resurrection from the dead secures my salvation.  By the grace of Luke 13:3, I sincerely repent for all past transgressions, acknowledging my shortcomings (specify sins). Your unwavering faithfulness and justice, as promised, will cleanse me from all iniquity (1 John 1:7).  I implore you, Lord Jesus, to purify me completely through Your precious blood.

Through the power of Romans 10:13, invoking Your holy name, I seek salvation.  Jesus, enter my heart; I surrender my spirit, soul, and body—my thoughts, will, and emotions—to Your complete dominion.  I shield my being, wholly and entirely, with the protective covering of Your blood. I decisively reject Satan, his minions, and all malevolent entities, commanding their immediate departure in Jesus' name.

I confess, repent of, and seek atonement for involvement in occult practices, including (witchcraft, divination, horoscopes, astrology), severing all ties and breaking associated maledictions.  Galatians 3:13 affirms Christ's liberation, freeing me from the law's curse—His sacrifice, a substitutionary atonement, absolving me. I acknowledge and repent of all sins detailed in Deuteronomy 27 and 28, breaking their associated curses.  Similarly, I confess, repent, and seek forgiveness for my transgressions and those inherited from my ancestors, as detailed in Leviticus 26:40, severing generational curses extending back to Eden, affecting both maternal and paternal lines.

I sever all harmful spiritual bonds with my mother, father, siblings, spouses (past and present), and former intimate partners.  Jesus, I extend forgiveness to my family and all who have caused me pain.  I break free, and release my family, from all curses—be they of witchcraft, psychic influence, malevolent intercession, or words spoken in anger—returning these sevenfold to their source, binding them through the power of Jesus' blood.

In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
